COVID-19 Learning Loss vs. Self Learning and Personal Development

I was reading an article on estimated COVID-19 Learning Loss for students on reading, math, and overall academic skills. As a parent, I’m trying my best to help kids arrange their daily at-home time reasonable and access positive and inspiring resources online and nearby to learn and grow.

That’s how I did today, to help my son figure out how to navigate between New York libraries, Queens libraries, OverDrive and other online resources, get his e-library card and downloaded the books he wants to read. Whichever was not working, we ignored it and kept on searching and trying new resources till we get it. We will also explore Amazon to find some new books to buy, so kids do not need spend all the time looking at screens.

It’s not easy, but doable as long as we are aware of the crisis and loss, and commit to our growth no matter what.

It reminded me that not just students, many adults as well are deeply impacted by the COVID-19 on losing their jobs, assets, learning, motivation, inspirations and hopes. It’s a BIG TEST for every one.

This pandemic and other crises will eventually teach every one including kids the importance of self learning and personal development. We should not complain the viruses or any crisis as it’s not helping you. We could not depend on others (teachers or parents) or any system (like education system) to be responsible for our personal growth and future success especially when everyone is facing the severe challenges. Our presence and future are all in our own hands.

Explore all resources you could access, create resources you could think of, take full responsibility of your growth and development, think through every day what your life is about, why you are doing what you do, and what best values you could contribute while you are still alive……

Let’s refuse the excuse of “Covid19 Learning Loss”, and instead, let’s thrive through our self study and personal development. I am happy to help my kids and clients. I am here to learn every day from the best masters in the world. It is the right time, for the right battle

On March 26th, America has been ranked #1 on coronavirus infected and confirmed cases in the world. And the situation is getting even more severe every hour and every day…

This is an awakening opportunity for all the people who live in the American, that we do not depend just on government to protect and save people, we people also depend on ourselves and our greater creator and protector to help us.

God has been watching us with His greatest love and empathy to His children on the earth, and waiting for us to humble ourselves, especially people in America to humble ourselves, to connect with and use His wisdom, love and strength to protect us and heal us and our earth.

This is a cruel but honored test, call and responsibility.

This time is the defining time, failure from fear, or victory with glory.

China was picked to be the first to take this test and pass on the message. It’s the watch man and the whistle for the world. It has fulfilled its duty.

Now America is chosen to fight and finish this battle for itself and for all.

Wake up, people living in America, and all the people on the earth. Wake up!

Everyone can use your gifts and capability, which are greater than what you think about yourself.

No panic, no further finger pointing and blaming, no more bias and attacking each other, this is your time to stand firm in your position first, protect yourself, improve your immune system, take good care of your family, encourage your friends and colleagues, then step up to help more others.

You can meditate, you can pray, you can believe, you can donate, you can organize, you can coordinate, you can deliver, you can study, you can learn and practice, you can solve problems one step a time, you can create, you can inspire, you can fight, you can lead, you can transform, you can empower……

Use every power you have, especially your powers of compassion and gratitude, and most importantly, unite with each other, across groups, communities, organizations, races, regions and states, in the country, and across countries.

This battle is destined, sooner or later. Now it’s in front of us, at the right time, when we need the most to humble ourselves, wake up and rediscover our faith and strength.

Please take your part of the fight today, as an honor, a trial destined for your consciousness, transformation, transcendence and abundance, for a greater glory that we will find out and celebrate at the other end of the great battle!

All our God’s children and warriors, wake up, put on your shields and arms, and get ready to protect, fight and claim our permanent victory!

This Time Is A Gift

 

More than one year ago, I defined that happiness is to enjoy life no matter what. I had confidence to say that I had been living in happiness. At that time, even challenging things seemed not to bother me much from the root as long as I had the love. But I also knew that secretly, I could not live well without that only one condition: my most loved one, my husband, my only lover for twenty years. I thought we were blessed to be together, as soul mates, forever. So I was happy, in spite of some normal marriage conflicts time from time, and I supposed that we would be happy and together for the rest of our lives.

 

Nobody knew my secret, my soft life spot, except God, and Satan.

 

When I was wandering in the heaven that was on earth, Satan attacked right on my soft life spot, robbed my heaven away and threw me directly to the hell. My most loved betrayed me, our family and our years of connection and legacy, and sold his soul to the evil to pursue a selfish and worldly desire. I could not recognize him any more, almost like overnight. I was totally broken down, from head to toe, to pieces. I could not even think about what happiness meant to me any more. Ironically, I was the great coach who was passionate in coaching people to access their happiness and holistic blessings. Everything about the tragedy has been so dramatic that it’s like everything is plotted by Satan to rob, attack and steal my gifts from providing to the world. Satan must be so jealous to God’s great work through human beings. I was surely on my blessed track before its attack. I was crashed by it.

 

I questioned God, I blamed God, I cursed God, I challenged God, I cried to God, I prayed to God……

 

It’s been a whole year of darkest nights of soul, with heartbrokening, struggling, fighting, crying, praying, climbing up, falling down, climbing up again……

 

Going through the coldest wall, going through all the pains, tests, tortures, and burnings, I kept dying, resurrecting, growing……going through such process again and again.

 

I coached myself, I self developed myself, I searched and learned all resources I could find, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, strategically, physically……

 

I learned how to take good care of myself no matter what,

I learned how to better take care of my angel-like children and teach them to be righteous and loving ones in God’s image,

I learned how to humble myself more and forgive anyone and anything,

I learned how to interact with others with only positivity and connect in depth,

I learned how to deal with failures with gracious smiles and reflect to start new initiatives right away,

I learned how to believe more in my purpose and gifts and God’s promise,

I learned how to hold my faith and hope tight in even darkest time and control my wild emotions,

I learned how to appreciate every day and any situation,

I learned how to love others more as if I am never hurt and give more to the world……

 

Now, I am still not perfect, but I feel more like phoenix. Peace and joy are slowly coming back to me, love and faith are slowly coming back to me, or more honestly, they have never left me even when I could not feel them during the overwhelming trauma. Now more than ever, I understand what real Happiness and Abundance is, the truth I have been pursuing all my life. Happiness and abundance is with you and in you. You feel it when you are appreciating and enjoying every day of life no matter what you have and no matter what happens. No any condition, period.

 

Now I can say, I am still happy, I am still abundant, and I am attracting more abundance into my life. I will only be happier, and I will only be more abundant, even though this wall is still tough and this dark night is still on, even though there could be new walls, and new dark nights.

 

I still love my hometown’s hills in southwest of China, after you climb onto one hill, you can find another higher. Every time you climb onto a new height, you stand at a higher place, your view is broader, and your horizon is brighter. Going through life’s dark nights is also like climbing life’s hills, every time you will find that you are standing at a new height receiving deeper-meaning blessings of your life.

 

Now I understand God’s great purpose in allowing this long dark night of soul, allowing all the dramatic tantrums to occur, allowing all the non-sense to finally make sense. God has never abandoned me or my loved ones. God is still working on everything for our good. The night is still dark, but the soul and heart have been freed and lighted. The best is yet coming.

 

This time is a gift. The dark night of soul is a gift. A gift blessed with God’s greatest purpose.

 

Today is Thanksgiving. Everyday of life matters as a thanksgiving. If you still can not smile to your whatever challenges in front of you right now, remember that, I am with you, praying for you and loving you, and believing that your happiness and abundance is showing up, waiting for you to feel, just feel their existence already in you. If you are reading this article till the end, I have that faith in you, your light has been on since long time ago, even before your birth, just waiting for you to reveal it, and get empowered with it to fulfill your unique purpose and path.

 

This time is a gift. Believe in it since today, every day. Your blessing is coming……
